Each side fights over a turn-based frontline map that is made up of multiple sectors that can be captured by either side. In Frontliners game mode, players can choose to join one of the two historic sides of World War I. The game can support up to 32 players and features four gaming modes: Frontlines, Attrition Warfare, Squad Defense and the Rifle Deathmatch. It also has detailed injury and gore modeling, as well as maps that are based on the real battlefields of the Western Front. It features historically authentic World War I weapons, uniforms, and equipment. This game is heavily inspired by the 1916 Battle of Verdun in France.
